Complimentary consultation
It all starts with a complimentary, confidential and no-obligation consultation, which you can book now.
This consultation takes place remotely, and during this informal twenty-minute chat we will run through the key points of what you are hoping to achieve for your room.
Onsite measured survey
If you would like to proceed; Alison, or an associate, will come and carry out a detailed measured survey of the room you would like us to design. The measured survey is central to our approach, allowing us to produce accurate technical drawings that are used throughout the design process.
In-depth consultation & detailed client brief
A second and more thorough consultation follows, where Alison and you discuss your practical requirements and visual desires for the room.
Based on this in-depth consultation, we draw up a detailed client brief to ensure we have fully grasped how you want your room to look, feel and function.
Presentation 1: room layout options & decorative scheme
Once you have reviewed and signed off the client brief, Alison will use this information to design two or sometimes three different to-scale room layouts and a preliminary decorative scheme that will include suggested colours, and some possible fabric and furniture options at differing price points.
Following a review session with Alison, you choose your preferred layout for us to develop into a finished scheme.
Presentation 2: refined room layout & decorative scheme
Alison will refine your chosen layout and decorative concept to reflect your feedback.
She will then send you a presentation pack containing large-scale paint swatches, finish and fabric samples; furniture, lighting and hardware printouts; and 3-dimensional renders to show you what your redesigned room would look like.
Another review session follows, after which the design is further refined to reflect your feedback.
Design Only Service: The finished scheme with implementation guide is presented to you
Once you are happy with the design, the final scheme for your beautiful new room is presented to you, complete with a shopping list, and a handy step-by-step guide for realising the scheme, along with a booklet of styling tips.
This option is perfect for people who have more time at their disposal, enjoy being hands-on with DIY work, or want the flexibility of bringing their room to life as time and budget allows.
Design & Source Service: The finished scheme is presented to you
The final scheme for your beautiful new room is presented to you with a shopping list of options for furniture, fixtures and fittings.
We will review and confirm budgets for individual items included in the scheme, as well as review a provisional schedule of work for any third-party contractors needed to realise your dream room.
Design & Source Service: Sourcing furniture & homewares
Alison will source the furniture, fixture and accessories in the scheme on your behalf, handling any specialist shipping, framing and restoration work on your behalf, as and when required.
Design & Source Service: Instructions to third-party contractors
Where appropriate, we will instruct and provide guidance to any third-party contractors involved in bringing your new room to life, including painter-decorators, curtain makers, upholsterers and electricians.
Design & Source Service: Oversee the final install
Once the room is redecorated, Alison will oversee and style the final placement of furniture, art and accessories into the room. She will also present you with a personalised booklet of styling tips.
This option is ideal for busy people, who just want to start living in their dream room.
